Ail Hwang, Hae-Ryaan Jeon and Ghung Ki Park filled the gaps of the tower’s struts with panels of colored acrylic plastic, creating a sturdier version of stained glass that’s more resistant to the elements.
The acrylic blend may not be as detailed as real stained glass, but it’s designed to withstand the elements.
With a little extra effort, some students have turned an object that we’ve regarded as just a necessary eyesore into a piece of art!
We should always be on the lookout to beautify our world…even if it means thinking outside the box.
